Peter Zezel |
Peter has had a professional hockey career of sixteen years in the National Hockey League. Drafted out of the Toronto Marlies Jr A Hockey Club as the first pick, 41st overall, in the second round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers. Peter went straight from junior hockey into the NHL. Peter scored his first NHL goal on a power play with the Flyers at 13/01 of the second period in a game against the Vancouver Canucks October 18th, 1984. On January 16th, 1991 Peter realized a childhood dream when he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs from Washington.

| Jim Carey has spent the last 15 years working in various levels of pro hockey as a trainer and equipment manager. He spent 9 years in the TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS organization working as an assistant equipment manager and with New market (former farm team of the LEAFS), ST .JOHN MAPLE LEAFS and with the TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS (NHL). He was part of 2 Stanley Cup Conference final squads with Toronto in 1993-and 1994.Carey has worked with some of the best hockey players in the world as evidence in his tenure with TEAM CANADA during the CANADA CUP. In 1999 he won the Kelly Cup Championship with the Mississippi Sea Wolves (ECHL) as head equipment manager and trainer and earned the honor that season of being named equipment manager for the Southern Conference All-Star Team. The last 4 years he has served as trainer and equipment manager of the PHILADELPHIA FLYERS farm team, Trenton Titans (ECHL). In 2001 he was again named equipment manager for the Northern Conference All-Star team. Carey is a standing member of (SPHEM), Society of Professional Hockey Equipment Managers,(HEMA), Athletic Equipment Managers Association and is Certified in C.P.R and First-AID. Jim has Level lll coaching certificate and is Fitness and nutrition certified. Jim Carey has worked as an instructor at PETER ZEZEL HOCKEY AND SPORTS CAMPS for the last 6 years. |
